EXAMPLE CALL · no accepted recording yet
A real call will land here.
No accepted recording yet. The criteria for acceptance: a real paper-filing event with a verifiable quote, reviewed by an accountable editor. Until then the slot renders the criteria, not a fake.
Awaiting the wire
What an accepted recording will need:
A real paper-filing event with a verifiable venue quote and a slip that matches the record.
Fact-checked biographical material if the broker’s namedFor is referenced.
A short, captioned, ≤10s clip with the slip rendered beside it.
An accountable reviewer who has signed off in editorial.
A clear "EXAMPLE CALL · recorded <date>" label and a "prices from that call" caveat.
No styled-as-live numbers and no animation that implies a live feed.

THE BOARD
Every verified offering.
Each row is one token on one rail. The same company on two rails is two different products, and the house never swaps one for the other.
Same stock, different token + rail = different offering. No silent substitution.
Name a company or ticker above, or open the full book.
How the line works.
01 / The call
Say it like you would to a broker.
Ring the desk. The broker writes the slip as you go.
02 / The slip
A live estimate when you ask.
The venue’s estimate lands on the slip — time-stamped, and it expires.
03 / Your signature
Only you can sign.
File paper, or live settle where the desk supports it — only with your approval.
each desk owes you an estimate
THE DESKS
Meet the brokers.

Hetty
Asks what you could lose before what you might make.
“I buy when things are low and no one wants them.”
— Hetty Green
Named for Hetty Green (1834–1916), “The Witch of Wall Street”. An AI character, not the historical person, and no substitute for advice.
Hetty Green (1834–1916) kept her own counsel and her own cash. She bought in panics, sold in booms, and read every balance sheet herself before she trusted a number — the market called her the Witch of Wall Street; the record calls her patient. This desk borrows her habit: downside first, conviction second.
The whaling fortune, the panic of ’07 — what the desk learned from her.

Jesse
Reads the tape first — price action and timing.
“There is only one side to the stock market; …not the bull side or the bear side, but the right side.”
— Jesse Livermore
Named for Jesse Livermore (1877–1940), “The Boy Plunger”. An AI character, not the historical person, and no substitute for advice.
Jesse Livermore (1877–1940) learned the tape in bucket shops before he learned the market, and kept his own line in a pocket notebook long before he trusted it to memory. Jesse’s desk borrows his discipline: price action and timing first, story second.
The boy plunger, the crash of ’29 — what the desk keeps of him.

Tennie
Three tapes — issuer, chain, venue — read side by side, never blended.
❦
Named for Tennie C. Claflin (1844–1923), “The Lady Broker”. An AI character, not the historical person, and no substitute for advice.
Tennie C. Claflin (1844–1923) opened Woodhull, Claflin & Co. on Broad Street in 1870 — the first brokerage women ran on Wall Street, backed by Cornelius Vanderbilt, and took the accounts the men’s houses refused. This house carries her name; this desk borrows her manner: three tapes for one token, read side by side, never blended.
The first brokerage women ran, the open book — and why the house carries her name.

Halley
Anchors a new price to a known one before the crowd arrives.
Not another line on the same book — the tape desks trade what exists; this desk launches what does not yet.
Named for Edmond Halley (1656–1742), “The Comet Caller”. An AI character, not the historical person, and no substitute for advice.
Edmond Halley (1656–1742) priced a life from a town’s burial records before any exchange would trust the numbers — the first annuity table, 1693. He kept the coinage honest at the Chester mint, predicted a comet’s return, and was proven right after his death. A launch desk inherits all three trades: price what has never traded, mind the mint, wait out the curve.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS
Questions callers ask.
Is this a real share?
No. It is a token that tracks one. Coinbase tokens on Base are a claim on a share held 1:1 by a custodian; xStocks on Solana are tracker certificates backed 1:1, with no voting rights. Open any row on the board for the exact terms and the issuer’s own document.
Can I use this from the US?
Not for live trades. Both issuers offer these tokens to non-US persons only, and the chain does not check where you are. Paper records are open to anyone because nothing is bought.
What does it cost?
Ringing a desk and filing paper records is free, and Claflin adds no fee of its own. A live trade pays the venue’s price, including any venue or router fee and the slippage limit shown on the slip before you sign, plus network gas (ETH on Base, SOL on Solana).
What if the token drifts from the stock?
It can, especially while the exchange is closed and the token keeps trading. Where a desk can see the stock’s reference price, the board shows the gap in basis points. The slip always quotes the venue you would actually trade on, not the stock.
Can the desk trade without me?
No. No signature, no trade. The broker can write the slip, price it and file paper when you say so. Only your own wallet signature moves money, and Claflin never holds your keys or funds.
Where does my record live?
In this browser. Jesse’s paper records live only in this browser. On Hetty’s desk, signing in can also keep a copy on your account; deleting a record on the desk removes the browser copy, and the account copy can reappear.
Am I talking to a person?
No. Hetty and Jesse are AI brokers, characters inspired by historical figures, not the people themselves. The microphone is used only while you hold the line or are on a call.
